17.04.2025 – Noise at Vorwerkstift

live

Organising a show for a change: Galerie 21/Vorwerkstift will host concerts by Jena Jang and Sisto Rossi this Thursday.

Jena Jang is a South Korean audiovisual artist exploring vocal improvisation, experimental music, harsh noise, DIY instruments, and performance art. Currently based in Prague, Czechia, they navigate diverse sonic and cultural landscapes on a global scale. Using high-pitched frequencies crafted with hand-built synthesizers, extended vocal improvisation, and power electronics, their work transforms trauma and liberates the mind from anguish.

Sisto Rossi became the keystone of the post industrial experimental/noise scene of the Ruhr Area. Originally from Tampa, Florida he appeared in western Germany around 2001, with plenty of energetic and creative live performances under several aliases. His main focus these days, is the exploration of texture and atmosphere, within minimalistic sound. He now resides in Hamburg.
